Camera Issues?

To begin with I thought that it would be okay to take my filming camera with me but a few days before the concert I saw a post on the facebook page about weather or not we could use our camera's. I presumed it would be okay because people take pictures and video's on their phones all the time. So this was a slight concern before we had even gone. However after discussing this with the girls on the page I decided to just take it with me anyway.

Video Changes.

I suddenly have a lot of different locations for my video, so I think I am going to have to cut some out or make it seem like this happened on two separate days. I feel like this wont be too much of an issue as Aplin uses a lot of different locations in her narrative video she created for this song. My only definite change that may have to happen is re filming the part where I put a coat on as I didn't wear it in the car or during pride day.

Characters post 2

There ended up being more than one character in my first draft of my video as I unexpectedly went to Pride day in Lincoln. I took shots of other people having fun and of me talking to someone. I also ended up filming shots of my friend that I went to the concert with. I decided that she would be a good addition to the video as the line "as long as w're together" set the friendship aspect off for the video.

Shooting Script

Saturday:

7am - car shots and lip sync

9am-4pm - random shots of pride because I done goofed.

5pm - Flat shots

Sunday:

10am - 3pm - train shots as well as lip sync

4pm onwards - Shots of the venue and the concert.

Monday:

Hating self for messing up.

Filming

I feel as though the filming process did not go well at all, I ended up going to pride day while in Lincoln waiting to meet my friend and got my face glittered while there not really thinking about it. Also had a rainbow flag. So I then had to take shots there at the pride day. Then I had to film me going to my friends then i didn't film me leaving and didn't do many shots in london because I had a terrible anxious time.

Music Video Draft 1

This is my very first draft for my music video that I am creating. So far I think it is going extremely well and I really like the way it is turning out.

I still need to film the rest of my journey, such as on the arrival of going to Lincoln and to my friends house as well as the journey of going to London for the concert.

 I also feel like it looks odd me putting a coat on in the beginning so I am going to re-film these shots as I think it would look a lot better if I change it and not have me putting a coat on.

Health and Safety

I have thought about the types of things that I will need to take with me for my music video. I will need to take with my some plasters just in case any accidents happen.


I have also figured that I will need to take a coat to not be cold, an umbrella, and some water.

I have previously been to the train station, and my other locations which I am going to so I know the area I want to film is going to be safe.


The only problem that may occur is a random bomb attack on the train station or being mugged in London or stabbed. I'm sure it'll be fine though.

The only true concern that I have would be if the weather got bad and I fell over in the rain.
