How do I think my video is going?

I think that so far my editing is going well. The only problem I am currently having is trying to fine tune the video to get the best grade possible. It's hard to tell what the small issues are when you think your video looks great and you don't know how to improve it. I was told my blurry shots needed to go, so I changed those out but I am now having an issue of knowing if anything else can be done to make it better.

Well, I feel as though I have finished my video and my teacher decided to argue that a part of my lip-sync was not in time. I feel as though it is so I asked a peer to look at it for me and Charlotte gave me the feedback that it seems like it is is time but there's just a small part that i mouthed wrong-ish and that might be the issue but it's not noticeable unless you watch it a bunch like she did.

Even though Tony decided to complain about my lip-syncing I still changed it anyway. So now it seems even more in sync so he can be happy now.

Location Shots Part 2

Here are some pictures of the area that I filmed at while in Lincoln. I felt like these were good areas to film in as they matched the aesthetic type of my music video with the trees. I liked the outcome of the shots and feel as though they go nicely into my video.

Editing

During the editing process I felt that I wanted the shot to be closer up. I had to crop out the part I did not want and enlarge the picture. So I did this and feel it looks a lot better. here is the original shot as well as the edited shot.

Outfit ideas for the performance side of 'Home'

I have made a small board to show the different ideas of what sort of clothes I should wear for my music performance. I feel as though they should be rather indie style as the song is rather indie itself.

Locations 4

I am going to Lincoln on the 17th for the weekend and have decided to look for some areas there where I can film. There is a castle nearby and it has a lot of greenery there so me and my trusty friend to help film for me under my direction, are going to go on an adventure with the filming equipment over the weekend to find some nice areas I will post location shots after this.

Weather for filming

Tomorrow I am going to Lincoln to Film the performance part of my music video and this is going to be the weather, I think that the weather is not going to be too bad for the day so I am looking forward to getting some nice brightly lighted shots that will go well with the style of my music video.

Locations 3

I was planning on filming in Thetford Forest as I feel like this location will well fit the aesthetic of the song that is being sung. I feel as though it will fit well because of this. I have created an Emaze for some location pictures.

Update: I decided not to film here in the end as it was rather out of the way and I had no way of getting there where as I was already going to Lincoln to stay there for a few days so it was a lot more convenient.

Music Video Draft 3

This is the third draft I have created of my music video. This draft has new shots in it that I had previously not added in. I've still left spaces in, in order to include a performance as I feel like it will tie the whole video together well. I also dislike the singing in the car now so I want to split it between the performance half and the car performance.

Music Video Draft 2

This second draft includes the change of the beginning where I am no longer wearing a coat. There are two reasons I did this, one was because it looked slightly odd and the other was that I needed to film while in Lincoln and I didn't wear my coat and I didn't want it to look like my coat had suddenly disappeared.

There is a lot of gaps in places as I am not sure what to put in there, I think adding a performance aspect would be a good thing to do.

I'm also thinking about moving about shots and putting them in a different order because I'm not sure if i'm satisfied with them.
